About Amber Miyamoto

The book I currently read is "Dream On Amber" by Emma Shevah. This book is about a 12-year-old named Amber   Alessandra Leola Kimiko Miyamoto . She's the main character  who has to face her first day of secondary school, who has quite of a hard time trying to figure herself out. She is half Italian and half Japanese, she lives in South London with her mom. She has a younger sister also, her name is Bella and she is only 6-years-old. Amber being new to this school had a hard time trying to fit in with kids she has never seen before. Meeting Joanne Pyke also resulted in her getting picked on a few times. Amber's father left her when she was a toddler and her sister Bella being only a baby. Ever since then she felt like she was left with a black hole inside of her. I would describe Amber as solicitous and altruistic person. Bella's birthday was coming up and she was really interested in seeing her dad. She wrote letters to him hoping he would respond back, but Amber

" I Will Always Write Back".

The book I currently finished is "I Will Always Write Back", by Caitlin Alifirenka and Martin Ganda. This book is about a girl named Caitlin from Pennsylvania who gets in touch with a boy name Martin from Zimbabwe. The writing all started when Caitlin had to send a "Pen-Pal" letter to someone from a different country. She out of everybody in her class chose to write to a child in Africa. Compared to Martin, Caitlin was really rich. Martin's dad had lost his job and Martin wasn't able to get the supplies he needed to write Caitlin back. He even had to write to her on a ice cream wrapper. Caitlin lived in a huge house with lots of cars , and her parents had good enough jobs to buy whatever she wanted and needed. Martin's family was really poor. Martin and his family had to share 1 bedroom along with other people he didn't know.  He even had to use the same toothbrush for 7 years. Him and his family all shared the same clothes, because there wasn't

Character Of My Choice

The character I'm choosing to write about is Darrell from Paul Langan's  "The Bully". Darrell Mercer just moved to California from Philadelphia with his mom. He's trying to make friends but other people don't feel the same way. To me Darrell is a pleasant person who is just trying to fit in. In the beginning of the story Darrell was very feeble. As he enrolled at Bluford High and was surrounded by other Freshman's and high-schoolers he noticed that he wasn't as tall and buff as the other kids. He was starting to feel insecure, and him being bullied leaded him to feel that way the most. He started to do exercises and he also started to boost his appetite so he would be much bigger than he seemed. He would also hear from his uncle that he was really small and he looked like a little kid so that wasn't any support he needed at all. To deal with that Darrell started to join the wrestling team at school so he would be able to defend himself from the bu
