The book I'm currently reading is "The Keysha Diaries" by Earl Sewell. This book is split into two sections. "If I Were Your Boyfriend" and Keysha's Drama. In the Keysha Diaries, Keysha's mom Justine just went back to jail. This situation put Keysha into a group home filled with other teens. The workers there helped get a hold of Keysha's biological father, and he was man enough to take a DNA test to see if he was the father. Turns out he is, and Keysha goes to stay with them. At first, she had trouble adjusting to the new change in her life. Her stepmother Barbara wasn't so easy on her. Her brother Mike was being a little ignorant, but he came out in the end. Keysha and her father are getting really close. Everytime she makes an effort to have a good conversation with him, Barbara comes and ruins it. Keysha thinks Barbara is jealous, but she doesn't care.
