Lady Q The book I'm reading this quarter is Lady Q, by Reymundo Sanchez and Sonia Rodriguez. This book is about Sonia having a harsh life, and joining the Latin Kings. This book is by far unbeatable, compared to all the books I've read this school year. Sonia and her family all grew up in Humboldt Park. Sonia had a harsh childhood , because of her abusive mother and step dad. Sonia grew up with having nobody. She was only 6 when she started getting molested by her own family members. When she tried to tell her mom, she would physically attack her, and call her all types of disrespectful names. Sonia then decided to join the Latin Kings. This was the only way she could feel loved by everyone, and the Kings made sure she was happy. She attended Roberto Clemente Community Academy in Humboldt Park, and would often get harassed by other gang rivals. When some of the Kings turned their backs on her, she didn't know what to do. This book should be read by mature people only. T
